Gas Grill
If you like to cook outside throughout the year and if youre in the market for a new gas grill, I highly recommend spending the extra money on stainless steel gas grills. Following are a few tips when looking to buy a gas grill using natural gas. Some day you may want to convert your propane gas grill to natural gas like Ive done. Before you buy, make sure to check that the outdoor gas grill brand you buy can be converted. Converting kits contain new valves that attach to the manifold. Bring some sort of magnet to the store with you. A high quality stainless gas grill is not magnetic. If you do a lot of grilling, you may want to buy one that has a gas grill burner, smoker or rotisserie. You may also want a grill that has a large cooking surface. My steel gas grill has about 600 square inches of cooking space. Youll also want to buy a barbecue gas grill that has some storage cabinets and drawers. These are great for storing all of your grill accessories. Be sure to measure the spot where youre going to set up the grill, and then measure the grill before you purchase it. Be sure to read all instructions before you assemble the grill. Finally, dont forget to purchase a good quality gas grill cover. This will help protect your grill from Mother Nature. I hope these tips have helped. Check out my Web site for some fun gas grill cooking recipes.

whats the differences in using natural gas versus propane?
he didnt say thanks for tubing in
WTF where’s my thanks?!!?
LOL! THANKS for commenting! And thanks for “tubing in!”
Hi. I have natural gas running to my home. The grill I purchased was set up to use propane from a portable tank. I got tired of running to the propane filling station when I ran out of propane. So now, I have a continous supply of fuel to the grill.
it DOES have to have a gnome on it! the gnome knows all. LOL, nice vid, chef.
Good point! Lol!
Thanks for the comment.
I drilled out my orifices on my propane grill so I could use Nat. gas start small work your way up works great saved a lot of money. I bought a new Brinkmann 2720 pro series never even fired it with propane just drilled it.
Thanks for sharing that plumcrazzzy. Just wondering if that would void any warranty with you grill?
I’m sure if I told the manufacturer I had altered the gill in any way that it would void the warranty. But since I would be doing any repairs what they don’t know won’t hurt me. Only paid $400 for the gill And it’s a 6 burner cast iron with stainless grates and have used it for 5 years still in great shape I think it was worth it.
Sounds like you know what you are doing!
Wow, the grills in america are to big for my garden!! but i think a little one is good to. (i’m from lil switzerland)
Hi there. A small grill will work just as well; you just can’t cook as much at the same time. Have fun grilling! Jason
I love my gas powered grill!
I use it about 4 times a week.
HAHAHAHHA!! I love the intro!
Get a real grill use charcoal!!!!!
You have a youtube channel. Why don’t you make a video that shows you cooking on your charcoal grill.
Cheers!
I agree with the last post. Gas grills only offer convenience, period. Charcoal grills actually impart that “grilled flavor” you want to achieve by cooking over an open flame.
@synr312
Actually, meats take on that *grilled* flavor when it is cooked over open flame and high heat. Whether it be a charcoal grill or gas. You will get a different flavor when using charcoal. But when it comes to any grilling, seasoning your food by marinade, smoking, rubs, oils etc… You can achieve GREAT results with a both a gas grill and charcoal.
I love barbecue! anybody knows different ways/ingredients to make a barbecue tastier?
